How do you Divine?
A Journey of Vulnerability, Authenticity & Evolution
Hosted by Sanika Nikki
How it started...
We all have a story worth telling and a journey worth exploring
From the moment I sat on my grandmother’s porch, mediating between the elders and neighbors—helping to alleviate tension and remind them of our shared values—I knew there was something special about the power of communication. Even as a child, I understood that words had the ability to heal, bridge divides, and bring clarity to chaos.
Overcoming a great deal of adversity in my younger years, I found solace in storytelling, music, and open dialogue. Those moments on the porch planted the seed, but it wasn’t until college that I truly discovered my voice. As a freshman, I stepped into the world of broadcast media as a radio VJ, curating soundscapes and facilitating conversations that resonated with listeners. My love for the craft deepened when I guest-hosted an evening reggae segment, immersing myself in the rhythm of culture, identity, and expression. That passion led me to intern at New York’s #1 radio station, where I saw firsthand how media could shape perspectives, amplify voices, and spark movements.
Then life shifted. Corporate success, marriage, motherhood—trying to balance it all left me feeling like I had to walk away from the microphone. But no matter how far I strayed, the calling never left me. It showed up in unexpected places—in deep, raw conversations with friends, colleagues, and even strangers. People shared their journeys of transformation, their struggles and triumphs, and how their experiences had redefined their beliefs. These exchanges revealed a truth I could no longer ignore: these stories needed to be heard.
So I created How Do You Divine?—a podcast that invites us to explore the words, experiences, and moments that shape our evolution. It’s a space for vulnerability, authenticity, and accountability—a space to have the conversations we often keep to ourselves. Each episode takes a single word or concept and unpacks how it influences the way we move through life, inviting guests to share their wisdom, challenges, and personal revelations.
This podcast is about more than just talk—it’s about transformation. It’s about making the complex simple so that the impact resonates deeply. It’s about unifying us through life’s waves while honoring our differences. And with the addition of music—the force that moves us through every season of life—it becomes an immersive experience that speaks to the soul.
Through storytelling, rhythm, and real conversations, How Do You Divine? is a reminder that we all have a story worth telling and a journey worth exploring. Because the way we define our lives is the way we divine our existence.
